This workshop will discuss the history of Hip Hop production from 1990-2017.

By recreating popular tracks we will breakdown the techniques used by legendary producers such as Kanye West, Just Blaze, Dr. Dre, J Dilla, and many more.
We will also discuss how modern innovators such as Boi 1da, 40, Metroboomin, Flying Lotus, and Knwxldge use different sonic textures to create a particular atmosphere for the artists they work with.
